Mayte Garcia is a triple threat who can act, sing and dance – enjoying success on all fronts. She has appeared in multiple movies and television shows, and also stars in VH1’s reality series “Hollywood Exes.” A second generation bellydancer, Mayte became one of the world’s youngest professional bellydancers, appearing on the popular TV show “That’s Incredible” at the age of eight. From 1992 to 1996, Mayte was the featured dancer and also background singer touring with international megastar, Prince. Mayte continues with her successful acting and dancing careers, while also helping homeless pets to find new homes through "Mayte's Rescue."

great dvd for beginners

ive been taking lessons for about a year now. I have a lot of belly dancing dvd s that I practice with. this one is very easy to follow. mayte explains everything and she breaks it down so everybody no matter the level can follow her. the combinations she puts together are easy to follow. if your thinking about buying this one, go ahead you will not be disappointed.

I feel slender and beautiful!

Admittedly it had been years since I danced or took time for me. This video offers some great moves to get your body moving and work your spirit. The instructor is gentle in her demeanor and easy to connect with. I could see and feel a difference in my body as my muscle memory took over after feeling a little sore from lack of movement. I would recommend this video to anyone looking to get up and start working your body in a fun way. Mayte is truly a blessing for me. She is a great motivator.

Best bellydancing instructor

Mayte Garcia really breaks down the moves and explains the motions and why you need to do the movement a particular way. I have purchased some of her other products and have been very satisfied with them. Thanks Mayte, keep up the good work. Your biggest Georgia fan!

Bellydance w/Mayte DVD

I enjoyed watching this DVD. Don't have time to try it but will when things slow down. I'm in the process of finishing college and will be moving soon. I know that I will enjoy working on the bellydance moves with Mayte. The moves are explained clearly and easy to follow. Will be an easy workout for me because there is no jumping around and fast-paced movements for this old body...I'm almost 60. Been wanting to try bellydancing for many years and, by golly, I'm going to do this!!
