Fan Veils

Fan Veils commonly are made from a light silk which allows for fluid movement and lush visuals. The staves are usually made from light weight bamboo. Fanveils can be used in solo performances, duets, or even group performances. The dancer creates graceful movement with the hands and the arms and the fanveils act an extension of the dancer’s movement. Fanveils come in a set of two, one for the right hand and one for the left. Choose from solid colors, ombre designs with 2 or more colors, or captivating tie dye designs. A dancer should choose a pair of fanveils based on their on-stage personality. Some dancers strive to match or coordinate similar color fanveils to their costume while some dancers aim to contrast with colors that pop - either option will add a stunning element to your performance! Fanveils are ideal for belly dance performances, fusion dance styles, modern dance, and other world dance styles.
