Hi Morgan, Thank you for your question. These beautiful wings are split up to the shoulder blades and attach to an elastic choker you wear around your neck. It has a velcro closure for easy removal. I hope this helps.

There is a large difference in color: the regular TURQUOISE is a deeper blue color with a metallic shine, while the TURQUOISE OPAL is a sheer organza with iridescence. They are both available as the open-back/split style, and the regular TURQUOISE is also available in closed back.
