Q: Is the O ring plastic or metal? If it is metal, is it nickel-free?

Hi Laska, the ring is a metal alloy, and while it most likely does not contain nickel, we are not 100% sure of the metals used. If you have an extreme sensitivity to any metal alloy, you probably should avoid this product.
