Hi Remy, thank you for your question. The Red, White and Purple veils have an elastic band that goes around the back of the head. The Black veil has an elastic band that can be worn around the whole head (the shorter band in front under the hairline and the longer band around the back of the head). Or both bands can be worn around the back of the head as shown in the photo.
