Hi Stephanie, Thank you for your question. We list these pants in the Plus section because the measurements of these pants cross over into the Size 18 or 1X which is a plus size. The XL is the largest these are available in.

L/XL- U.S. Women's Standard Size 12-18
Waistband / Upper hip- 36 inches unstretched, 44 inches stretched; Lower hip- 44 inches unstretched, 52 inches stretched; Front Rise (crotch depth)- 8 inches unstretched, 12 inches stretched; Back depth- 11 inches unstretched, 16 inches stretched; Hip wrap (not including ties)- 36 inches unstretched, 49 inches stretched
