Q: Is there padding on the inside? I have a vintage ceramic doumbek-7" diameter on top and 14" height.

Q: I see the internal dimension is 18" height, but it is listed as a 17" case. What case do you order if you buy an 18" drum? Will it fit in this one?

Hello Zephyr, we have updated our description to include all details and specs. They are: Case has two straps, top and side zipper, and a zippered pocket on top of the case to store a replacement head. Approximate outside dimensions: Height: 19 inches Top diameter: 11 inches Base diameter: 8.25 inches Approximate inside dimensions: Height: 18 inches Top diameter: 10.5 inches Base diameter: 8 inches

A: Thank you for your question. We just placed an 18 inch doumbek inside this case could not get the top zipper of the case to close. We recommend this case for a 17 inch doumbek only.
