This THICK Tahtib stick (Assaya or Asayya) is perfect for Raks (Raqs) Al Assaya Egyptian Saidi, Tahtib. Made from solid bamboo. Imported from Egypt.
This product is handmade from natural plant material and will vary in dimensions for sizing, pattern, and color. MAY NOT LOOK EXACTLY AS PICTURED.
APPROXIMATE SIZING / MEASUREMENTS:
Diameter: 1.25 inches to 1.50 inches
Circumference: 3.5 to 3.75 inches
Length: 43 - 44 inches

Great item, exactly what I wanted. They are a bit long so I will need to cut them down, but this may not be so bad since now I can fit them to the individual troupe members height : )

Assaya Stick
This stick is just what I was looking for. It twirls great. Easy to handle. I did cut it down, as I'm very petite. Great stick, at a great price.

I love the feel and size; however, my father-in-law used to grow bamboo. I didn't get the best piece. It's a bit wilted at one end.
